I was very flattered by your compliments thank you! Your photos are great too, I love the pictures of the girl with the baby, are these your children? Anyway, to answer your question, right now I am shooting with a 50mm 1.4. I used to have the 50mm 1.8, but REALLY the difference between the two is night and day. The 1.4 is COMPLETELY sharp. I use this on ALL of my client shoots except for weddings, and then on those I will throw in a little 24mm 2.8. Anyway, not an expert by any means in this area, but I hope it helps! Take care.
